Meet the Color World Painting Columbus Team

Hi there, I'm Waris – a BBQ enthusiast and family guy. I find real joy in grilling up a storm and hanging out with my loved ones, including two amazing kiddos. Beyond the BBQ pit, you'll catch me passionately following Liverpool FC and rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes. And here's a fun goal of mine: hitting the waves for some surfing adventures with my daughter soon!

On the work front, I've spent a good chunk of my career advising executives and business owners on M&A deals and strategies. I lead strategic Initiatives here at Color World Painting and advise on deal specific projects for Authority Brands (leading home services franchisor and parent company of Color World franchise).

I joined Color World Painting in 2021 after working in finance at Northwestern Mutual. Prior to that I worked at Sherwin-Williams paint company for 12 years, as well as working with my father’s painting business back in my hometown.

One of my favorite things is meeting new people, and helping them find the right solution for their life’s biggest investment. I have a passion for providing the best experience for clients when selecting who works on their home. My success with Color World Painting is due to my commitment to exceptional customer service and I believe this is one of the key differences that sets us apart from many painting companies in the area.

I grew up in Napoleon, Ohio and I currently live in Westerville, Ohio. Beyond Color World, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and sports. My wife, Stephanie works at Northwestern Mutual. We have one son, Jax. He is our world and we enjoy seeing him grow and enjoying outdoor activities as much as we do. We spend most of our time playing softball, going to the zoo, going to baseball games, bike rides, and walks to the parks.

As a proud father of two and devoted dog owner of Wilbur, I value family and companionship above all else. My passion for art has led me to become a collector, always on the lookout for unique pieces to share with others. With years of sales experience under my belt, I thrive in social atmospheres and excel at building meaningful relationships. In my free time, I indulge in my love for cooking and experimenting with new foods. Currently, I'm utilizing my sales expertise as a Sales Representative, delivering superior customer service and demonstrating an unwavering commitment to achieving results.

I have been fortunate to have spent the last 2 years as part of an incredible team, delivering top-notch customer service. I am also a proud foster mom to a 13-year-old boy who inspires me every day to do better and be better. My passions include capturing the beauty of life through photography and dedicating my time to making someone's home feel like their own. I consider myself a skilled problem solver and thrive in situations where I can help others overcome challenges. My commitment to family is unwavering, and I am grateful for the love and support they provide me in all aspects of my life.
