Meet Our Team

Greetings! Thank you for visiting our website. I am Joel Mesa, happily married to my wife and trusted business partner Lolanie. We have three grown daughters and one son all who live here in South Carolina. I am currently preparing to retire from the US Army after 20 plus active-duty years and now call South Carolina home. My time in the military has been a grueling but rewarding time. I will always cherish the privilege of honorably serving our nation, but like all stories, chapters must come to an end. I now turn the page and start a new chapter in life and Color World Painting of Columbia, SC is the start of that chapter.

We are honored to be a part of the Color World Painting Team because of their good-natured values. We are determined to complement their goal of providing excellent service, compassionate customer experiences, and connect with our community. Our pursuit of excellence and accountability will ensure our commitment to provide a white-glove experience to our patrons.

We live by the core values of modesty, integrity, and honesty. We practice these values by treating people with respect, adding value to people’s lives, and keeping positive relationships. We believe in investing in people, community, and family. We will promote positive changes, such as creating jobs, providing unmatched professional service, quality assurance and control, and giving back through charitable events.

Lolanie and I give back to the community without thought of recognition for our deeds. Our hearts are sincere, and our acts genuine. We sponsor families and children during the holidays, donate to local charities and organizations, and support veteran organizations. We teach our kids to do the same, and, on their own accord, they donate their most expensive possession, “time”. They volunteer at various local outreach programs, elderly homes, and programs for disadvantaged families.  

At the end of the day, we are just normal people with simple hobbies. We love the outdoors, to travel, and enjoy life. Thank you for your time and I hope to one day earn your trust and to help us start this chapter.
